Pick: Fenerbahce (-1.5) Result: Stake: 8/10 Odds: 3.10

Logically, you would think that this if ever is the time to really slap them about a bit and have some fun. A defence and midfield like theirs is just asking for punishment from in-form players like Topuz, Emre, Niang and co. But to use the cliché, it's a derby and anything can happen. On the other hand, Fenerbahce looks great and needs to make sure they aren't complacent. Fenerbahce now are too strong for Galatasaray

PSG have excellent oportunity to climb up several positions in the table as yesterday both Rennes and St.Ettiene lost points. Auxerre had a tough game in Ajax, where they managed to lose 2:1, although they were playing against 10 men for almost a half. PSG gave some break to key players and still they managed to take point at high flying Borussia. Today they will play at full strength. Nene has been in scintilating form so far and was one of the best buys in the summer. Him to score might be also good bet.

Arles collected first points last round when they drew their game against Brest. On the other hand comes Lyon who are improving every game. C.Puel saved his post with recent performances. New signing Y.Gourcouf and L.Lopez are those two who are main reasons behind recent results. At first they wiped out Lille, then it was Benfica turn. In both games Lyon were in total control and lowly Arles have no chance today.

Since the firing of V.Gazzaev Dinamo looks to be reborn. In midweek they defeated AZ Alkmaar anc continued their quest for next round. Dinamo have no fresh injury worry and face 7th placed Vorskla. Schevchenko and Milevskyi are set to lead Dynamo attack and I think we can see goals in this game.

Match against Slazburg reminds Juventus of how much work they still have to do to become a quality side again. Too many players that don't contribute enough and when Juve have important players missing or resting it shows. It's quite worrying that Pepe, Martinez and Lanzafame all have been useless on the wing so far. But now key players Krasic, Melo and other will return to squad and Juventus will play different. In Seria A so far they are showing good football and enjoying their game.

Lazio match against Cagliari in January 2009 was an absolute scandal; Rocchi put Lazio in the lead after four minutes but only five minutes later Cagliari were 2-1 ahead. Carrizo was outrageously bad and Lazio ended up losing 4-1, missing two penalties and Firmani was sent off from the bench. Hopefully it won’t go this way today. It appears Reja is very conservative in his line-up selection and I really find it strange that he said that only of Ledesma and Matuzalem might play at the same time. Nevertheless, Cagliari match will again depend on the mind factor; if Lazio players get in the field with the same attitude like other matches so far, I don’t doubt a 2 or 3-0 win.

Pick: Zenit (-1) Result: Stake: 8/10 Odds: 1.83

Anzhi remains the only team in Russia, that is yet to score in second part of Premier League. They lost last 5 games with a total result 0:10. It seems that there is no difference for Zenit where to play, last time they lost points in 20th round against Terek and overall they have only 5 draws, all other games they have won. Last time Zenit was playing away I tried to take oponents, but the game showed that Zenit are classes above other teams in Russia.

Now that we have all the Rooney drama behind United, I hope they can focus on what happens on the pitch. Currently Nani is definitely Manchester guy at the moment, and they'll need him a lot against Stoke for a moment of magic. He needs to be patient and pick his moments wisely, he cannot be frustrated, Stoke games are the games like against Middlesborough Norwich etc.... a lot of hustle and tussle, patience is needed. Manchester will need speedy wingers in today clash, because Stoke has two huge centre backs : Huth and Shawcross. Trying to go through centre might end in a disaster for United. Stoke are a very physical team and Sir Alex will find a way to down them.

Tomorrow Ajax take on the best side of Rotterdam at the moment. Excelsior got off to a great start this season. Especially at home. Beating the Feyenord thanks a Fernandez late one. Fernandez who also slayered Sparta in last season's epic finale and gave Aad de Mos another early exit. Last couple of games their results are like expected though. Under Jol Ajax haven't lost those kind of games anymore. Although Utrecht at home was from the same mould, but at least they were a better side than the relegation minnows. One of those games that could be a Suarez hattrickgame.
